Contest Rules

Official rules for the Wondra Cinema Founding Season program. No purchase necessary. Open to individuals 18 or older. Void where prohibited.

  1. 01

    Sponsor & Contact

Wondra Cinema ("Wondra") is the operator of Wondra Cinema and its curated seasonal programs. For questions or correspondence, contact hello@wondracinema.com.

  2. 02

    No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, account upgrade, or subscription fee is required to apply or participate. Applying is free. A free Wondra account is required to submit a film.

  3. 03

    Eligibility

Open to individuals 18 years of age or older at the time of application. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Wondra are not eligible to win the Audience Award. Void where prohibited by applicable law. Participants are solely responsible for confirming their own eligibility under applicable local laws and regulations.

  4. 04

    How to Apply

Submit an original cinematic AI film via wondracinema.com/submit. Only direct video uploads are accepted — external links, YouTube embeds, and third-party players are not eligible for the Audience Award. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; a submission does not guarantee selection, public display, or prize eligibility for any current or future season.

  5. 05

    Selection Process

Wondra reviews every application by hand and selects up to 8 Official Selections for the Founding Season. Selection is at the sole discretion of Wondra, based on cinematic quality, craft, originality, and editorial fit. Not every submission is displayed publicly on the platform. Only confirmed Official Selections are eligible for the Audience Award vote.

  6. 06

    Audience Vote

Founding Season Official Selections are eligible for the Wondra Audience Award. While voting is open, signed-in Wondra members can vote for eligible Official Selections; you cannot vote for your own film. Wondra reviews voting for fraud and rule compliance, and may adjust results accordingly. Community votes are an editorial signal and are not automatically binding.

  7. 07

    Audience Award

The Wondra Audience Award recognizes a Founding Season Official Selection based on the audience vote, subject to Wondra's compliance review. Award details and the winner notification process will be published by Wondra. Results are confirmed by Wondra after voting closes.

  8. 08

    Taxes & Fees

Prize winners are solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, or local taxes, duties, or fees on the award. Wondra does not withhold taxes on behalf of winners. Winners may be required to provide identifying information (such as a W-9 or equivalent) if required by applicable law.

  9. 09

    Disqualification

Wondra reserves the right to disqualify any submission, vote, or participant for: submitting content that violates the Terms of Service or these Rules; using fake, purchased, bot-generated, or otherwise fraudulent votes; coordinating votes, engaging in vote trading, or incentivizing votes; creating multiple accounts to accumulate voting advantages; submitting content without holding the necessary rights; or any other conduct Wondra reasonably determines to be abusive, deceptive, or harmful to the integrity of the program. Disqualified entries forfeit all prize eligibility without compensation.

  10. 10

    No Guarantees

Wondra makes no guarantee that any application will be selected, featured, ranked, or retained on the platform. Accepted films may be de-listed, re-ranked, or removed at any time at Wondra's sole discretion. Community Selection feedback is an editorial signal and does not automatically determine homepage placement or inclusion in the permanent collection. The platform and its programs may change, pause, or end at any time.

  11. 11

    Fair Play

Coordinated voting, vote trading, use of bots or fake accounts, vote incentivization, or any other attempt to manipulate contest outcomes may result in vote invalidation, account suspension, prize forfeiture, and permanent disqualification from all Wondra programs.

  12. 12

    Governing Rules & Law

These Contest Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. In the event of any conflict between these Rules and the Wondra Terms of Service, these Rules govern with respect to prize-specific matters.
